Family Focus Projects aim to provide young people from BMER (Black and Minority Ethnic and Refugee) backgrounds with opportunities to increase both their creative and core skills and, as a result, improve their experiences in formal education.
Family Focus provides these children and their families with workshops at weekends, after school and in the holidays covering a wide range of art forms including music, visual arts, creative writing, photography and animation. It is proving to be an interesting and challenging project and one that we are looking forward to developing over the next two years.
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation provided Community Focus with a three year grant for our Family Focus Projects. Click the links below for more information about the projects.
